Heriot's protest against electoral reform, the House of Deputies ended an all-night sitting by - passing, by 319 votes to one, the Electoral Bill, enfranchising women, and unanimousl'y restoring the majority and abolishing the pref erence voting. - The Senate is expected to reject women'S suffrage.
