The ■ Prime Minister- stated this 1 afternoon that the conference had he'en called in order that all those affected hy the exchange problems fffiould have ari ripportxxriity of plaeing their viewpoint before the hanks. The coriference could hot arrive at any decision as to whether there should he a high or a low exchange; it could merely exchange* 'opinions. It is understood that the niajority of Ca'binet is in favouf of a high exchange rate. - • - ■
