Various newspapers are carrying a Sydney despatch from a news agency, reviving the story of a f ew years baelc, concerning a heautiful white girl heing held by the aborigines in North-East Australia. Axistralians here read the story. with amazement, and it is recalled that some- time ago a private showing was given in. > a cinema showing the scenex-y and life in Northern Australia, and including the instance of the fair-haired girl cahtive. ■
