S. AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION TOURNEY OPENS TO-DAY IN ROTORUA DRAW FOR HANDICAPS The annual croquet tournament held hy the South Auckland Croquet Association will commence in the Rotorua Government Grounds this j morning. This year, the numher of j entries shows an encouraging advance over those of previous years, ' there heing between eighty and ninety players competing in the present fixture. This morning the B grade.handicap singles will be held in conjunetion with the A grade handicap douhles, commencing at 9 a.m. When these sections have been decided they will be followed hy the championship doubles, the open singles championship and the South Auckland Association's Croquet Cup championship, open only to members of the South Auckland Association.
