The Bay of Plenty lawn tennis tournament was continued on Saturday, when the following matches were decided: — Combined Handicap Doubles. . — Takarua and Miss Beattie defeated E. Armstrong and Mrs. W. H. Armstrong, 9 — 4; Simmonds and Miss B. Guest defeated Takarua and Miss Beattie, 9 — 3. Final: Simmonds and Miss Guest defeated Wilson and Miss M. Sisam, 9 — 7. Combined Championship Doubles. — Final: Miss K. Guest and J. Stevens beat Miss B. Guest and O. Simmonds, 2—6, 6—4, 6—1.
