ISSUE OF SUPPLIES FOR wellington hre brigade WELLINGTON, Saturday, Follbwing u|po.n allegations by officers bf the Wellington Cbritral Fire Brigade regarding unusual supplies and use bf petrol an'd spar'e parts, the Weilingtori Fire Board Kas, for some tinie bfeeri inquiring into the records of such issues.At a meeting during the week it was resolved to take some disciplinary action. It is understood that the matter is also being inquired into by the Audit Department. It is learned that the allegations made had reference to the use of petrol and stores by others "as well as those more immediately connected with the Brigade „ No stateriient from the Board is Wailable at present thqugh possibly *a statement will be riiade later.
