According to the Japanese, 3,000 regttlar forces occupied the Woosung foi-ts, which are now ruined. Many shells have fallen on foreign parts' duririg the three days' bombardment. Several Chinese were killed and one Japanese ' civilian aiicl four foreigners are injured: The Eastern extension of the Pacific cable was cut o'n Thursday afternoon during the jbombardment of Woosung, and is still unrepaired owing to hostilities. ■ Chinese airmen are believed to be using Viclcers-Vimy fighters, of which England delivered 130 twelve years ago. They were assembled only six weeks ago.-
