THEORY FOR MISHAP
-By Telegraph — Ccpyrlght).
Rec. Feb. 6, 1 a.m. LONDON, Friday. Divers examined the M2 and found the hangar doors open. The hangar was full of water, the entire hull is also' reported to be flooded. The open hangar suggests that the mishap arose during aeroplane exercises. One theory is that while attempting to hreak the surface to launch the aeroplane in record time, the hangar doors opened too soon and the weight of the water caused the vessel to plunge stern downwards.
