TWO SERIALS
COMMENCING SHORTLY. Two attractive serials have been booked for the Majestic and Grand Theatres and will be commencing" shortly. At the Majestic, that old favourite of the silent screen, "The Leather Pushers," will commence on February 15 and run for approximately 12 weeks, and at the Grand, the firstclass circus thriller, "Spell of the Circus," will commence on February 18 and run for 10 weeks. Many people who saw the "Leather Pushers" in the silent days, will remember its thrills, but as a talkie it has still more. The serial is packed with action and has some first-class boxing scenes. As a serial, it sustains interest from instalment to instalment, while on the lighter side, it has
excellent comedy and love interest. The lure of the circus has never lost its appeal, and for young and old alike, "The Spell of the Circus" has all that appeals, added to a really human story. It has been claimed for this serial that it packs a hundred circus shows into one and the claim is justified on the results. It has all the gjamour of the sawdust ring, all the laughter and all the tears which is to he found in front of and behind the scenes
