GOOD ENTRIES FOR NEXT WEEK'S ROTORUA TOURNEY " . SOME WELL-KNOWN PLAYERS Excellent entries have been received for the Rotorua Bowling Club's forthcoming annual tournament which opens on the Government Grounds greens on Monday. A number of wellknown championship players will be participating in the different sections, and teams are competing from all pafts of the North Island. The Otahuhu rink which last year won the tournament will again be competing with the same pef sonnel, while the Carlton ' Club, Auckland, which last year secured the runner-up positiori, has this year entefed several teams, in the different sections. Teams will also be participating from as fai' abroad as Nelson, Wellington, and Whangarei. Five teams from the Rotorua "Club have been entered. Among the prominent bowlers who will be participating, are Professor Maxwell Walker, who skipped the rink which won the New Zealand champion fours at the last Dominion chainpionships, Messrs W. Bremner and C. Hardley who are the holders of the New Zealand champion pairs, and Mr. Alec Robertson,'of Onehunga, who was runner-up in the recent Sydney championships.
