KEEPING WATCH

(Press. Assn.-

SUPPORT CERTAIN IF GOVERNOR ACTS CONSTITUTIONAL POSITION

-By Telegraph. — Copyright).

LONDON, Monday. While the Dominions Office is keeping the closest watch on the Australian financial situation, in connection with the constitutional questions involved,' the Australian Press Association learns that the State Governor (Sir Philip Game) has not communicated with Whitehall. It is felt here that the question must momentarily be left between Mr Lang and the Loan Couneil. If Sir Philip Game intervenes it will only be in event of the Commonwealth and other States failing to bring the New South Wales Premier into line. However, should only extreme measures suffice, there is no doubt that any action Sir Philip Game takes would he fully supported by the authorities at Whitehall.
