SPONGE PUDDING WITH FUDGE SAUCE
4 eggs, | cupful cold water, - teaspoonful salt, 5 cupful castor sugar, 1 h teaspoonfuls baking powder, I teaspoonful vanilla essence, 1J cupfuls flour. Beat eggs and sugar together till honey coloured., Stir in the water and the flour, the baking powder and salt sifted together, then the vanilla. Bake in a buttered 1 baking tin in a moderate oven for! about 20 to 30 minutes. When cold,!, cut into squares and serve wit hil fudge sauce. !l
