EADIES TEAM FOR AUCKLAND Efforts are being ' made by the Rotorua Amateur Athletic and Cyeling Club to prepare a team of lady runners to compete in the ladies reiay races at the Auckland Provincial championshfps to be held at Auckland on Saturday, February 13. * • It is felt that properly' coaehed, the lady members of the club would be capable of making a gobd showing 2 at the championships, and to this end i eight ladies af e to be chosen to go into immediate training, from wdiom a team of five will be selectecb to make the trip to Auckland. Any member or intending member other than those chosen, who desires a try-out, and who is prepared to engage in serious training and eoaching, may leave her name and address with the secretary (Mr. C, J. Casey) at the "Morning Post" Office. With the assistancg of car owners, the club expects to defray all ex"penses, including benzinfe, and "therdfore the runners selected will n'ot be put to any great persOnal expense.
