PRUNE SAVOURY

Ingredients : Rounds • of fried bread, thin rashers of bacon, a few devilled almonds, dessert prunes. Method: Soften the prunes in a little hot water. Slip out the stone and insert in its place a devilled almond. Roll in half a rasher of bacon. Secure the bacon in place with a small skewer and grill till the bacon is cQolced. Remove the skewer and place the little grills on the rounds of fried i>read. Serve very hot.
