TOMATO PASTE
2 larg-e tomatoes, 2 ozs. cheese. ,4ozs breadcrumbs, 1 egg, loz. butter, 1 small onion, pepper and celery salt. Scald, peel and cut tomatoes into small pieces. Minee the onion • and put onion and tomato in saueepan to simmer until tender. Then add wellbeaten egg and stir -quickly until thickens. Take off the stove and add cheese, arid breadcrumbs, then pepper, celery and salt to taste. Put into jars and cover with melted butter. :
