FAREWELL PARTY
I Yesterday afternoon Miss M. E. Hoole was the guest of honour at a ! delightful farewell party given by j Mrs L A. Lewis, at her residence on 1 Pukeroa Hill. Miss Hoole, who is | shortly leaving Rotorua on a visit to 1 England, is well known in Rotorua J and her many friends will wish her | a pleasant journe.y. | Mrs Lewis received her guests wearing an attractive frock of blue ; georgette; her drawing room was very
gay with large bowls of yellow and orangq Iceland poppies. Miss Hoole wore French voile patterned in yellow and black. During the afternoon a dainty afternoon tea was served. The guests included: Mrs H. Bertram, Mrs Brian Thompson, Mrs J. St. Clair, Mrs von Sturmer (Auckland), Mrs L. G. Ashton, Mrs F. H. Spencer, Mrs S. J. Hale, Mrs A. W. Shaw, Miss Evans and Miss Stanton.
