Schofield, and he has never fovgotten Mr. Bridge's serviees . Eaeh year since then Mv. Bridge has reet-ivod a letter or a eard about Christraas timo, but this year' reinenbvanoe was espeeially interesting. It read: "Frora the commander-in-chief oi the United State fleet and his omcers and men, wishing you a happy. Ciirktiuas and a prosperous New Year." A eard was enclosed bearing the inscription, "Frank H. Schofield, admiral, Unitad States fleet." ■
