The First Rotorua Scout troop returned from Maketu on Sunday evening after a most suecessful camp of seventeen days, under Scoutmaster J T. C. Hawkins. All the scouts are j perfectly fit after their holiday in | the open air. Besides thoroughly enjoying themselves, the boys obtained j much useful instruction from their j leaders. The camp was struck and ; the area thoroughly cleaned up on : Sunday afternoon and the troop re- j turned in a small fleet of cars and lorries kindly supplied for the oc- \ casion by friends of the troop.
