DELIGHTFUL EVENING
COMING OF AGE PARTY Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Higgins, of Amohia Street, Rotorua, reeently entertained a large number of friends at a party given in honour of the corqing of age birthday of their daughter, Una. As the night was pleasantly warm dancing was held cn the verandah, which was gaily decorated with balloons, streamers and flowers. Competions formed a f eature of the evening, while games were played both iridoors and about the grouncls. Card tables for those who were non- ■ dancers or who f ound the evening too warm, were ari" nged in the diriing room which was decorated with streamers and balloons, as well as foliage and flowers. A most deleetable supper was served during the evening. Mrs. Higgins received her guests wearing a gown of black georgette, while the guest of horiour wore floral georgette with orange the predominating colour. The ladies present included: — Mrs. Cochrane, . Mrs. Hartridge, Mrs. Rokori, Mrs. Boyd (Tuakau), Mrs. Lang (Sydney), Miss B. Henderson, Miss M. Henderson, Miss Smith, Miss i E. Sharpe, Miss D. Davies, Miss R. j Campny.
