Waikaremoana Popular.
Waikaremoana proved a popular resort for Gisborne niotor campers during the holidays . The grounds near Lake House and also at Hoporuahiiie inlet were crowded, maiuly'with Gisborne people, according to campers who have ju^t retufned. The ro'ad between Lake House and Hoporuahine is gradually losing some of its terrors for work has been proceeding recently widening it and rounding' off of hends where possible. This is likely to be an expensive job, in view of the fact that in plaees the road is cut from almost solid rock: Motorists who have been over this sectxoii recently report that when the work is completed travelling on the road will be a great deal easier than at present.
