PERSONNEL OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED POST FOR MR. BRUCE

MELBOURNE, Monday. The allocations of portfolios in the new Federal Ministry are officially announced as follows. Mr. J. A. Lyons, Prime Minister and Treasurer. Mr. J. G. Latham, Attorney-General, External Aff airs, and depUty-Leader of the Government. Sir George Pearce, Defence and Leader of the Government in the Sena Mr. H. S. Gullett, Trade and Customs. Mr. J. E. Fenton, Postmaster-Gen-eral and probably Works and Railway s. Mr C. A. S. Hawker, Markets. Mr. A. Parkhill, Home Affairs. Mr C. W. C. Marr, Health. Mr. A. J. McLachlan, Vice-Presid-ent of the Executive Council and probably Minister in Charge of Development. The four honorary Ministers are Mr. S. M. Bruce, Mr. J. Francis, Mr J. A. Perkins, and Senator Massey Greene. Mr. Bruce will be assistant-Treas-urer. The swearing-in will take place at Canberra on Wednesday. In his administration of the Treasury Mr. Lyons will have the assistance of Mr. Bruce, whose business experience and recent contact with financial aUthorities in Great Britain should make his aid extremely valuable.
