DOMINION STATUS FOR INDIA DANGEROUS TO AUSTRALIA IMPERIALISTS' LETTER

LONDON, Sunday. The "Daily Mail" prints a Ietter signed by Australian Imperialists declaring that patriotic Australians possessing a knowledge of India are astounded at the proposal to bestow Dominion status upon India, which is a questionable boon and would be tantamount to handing the eountry over to Indian politicians. "AfPParently the 'Governmjents of Australia and New Zealand, which," the writers say, "would be gravely imperilled if British sovereignity in India were destroyed, or even weakened, and have not been consulted since the ignominious negotiations with the Indian rebels were begun."
