funeral of victim of tragic error at feilding COMMUNITY' S GRIEF

FEILDING, Wednes. The remains of Mr. Bruce MeCorkindale, the victim of the hank tragedy were interred this afternoon#at Terrace End Cemetery. The respect and grief of the whole community were shown hy the large cortege, which included representatives of the hanks' staffs, and memhers of the Borough' Council, school .committees, Farmers' Union and other local bodies, with which his parents were connected. Mr. J. L. Burton, who fired the fatal shot. has been granted furlough by the bank and has gone to his home at Opunake. He will he required to appear before the magistrate and the coroner for the inquiry i and inquest, the date of which has not yet been fixed. _______ * • . - TrjnmmR
