Rec. Dec. 30, 7 p.m. LONDON, Wednes. The "Times" Paris correspondent says tbat the French Press insists that in view of America's attitude, France and Great Britain pursue an agreed policy in regard to war debts and reparations. "Le Temps" says that the FrancoBritish Entente is indispensible as the basis of a constructive European policy. Concerted action betweqn London and Paris had never been harmfully directed against any power or powers, but always for the good of Europe. The two powers, acting unitedly, wielded a powerful international influence and they should act co-operatively. A solution had been easy wherever a great international discussion had been approached after a preliminary Anglo-French agreement, but when this was lacking, the difficulties had been insuperable, and h&lf measures had resulted. Germany's creditors and America's dfebters should present a united front be-
tween the Basle findings and American stubbornness. The European nations must present America with a concerted scheme, making her responsible for the chaos following its rejection.
