EXCELLEN CY'S GOOD WISHES TO BOROUGH OF ROTORUA The Mayor, Mr. T. Jackson, has reeeived a letter from his Exeellency, the Governor- General, Lord Bledisloe, expressing his Excellency's and Lady Bledisloe's regret at their inability to attend the opening of the new Blue Bath last Monday night. "We should like you to know that we are greatly interested in this new enterprise, which we trust may be for the lasting beenfit of your most attractive and health-giving borough and may bring much prosperity to it in the future,"- stated his Exeellency in the course of his letter. . 7 "This Dominion has in the Rotorua waters and baths a very valuable asset. Indeed thqre aSre no natural springs of greater or more varied therapeutic value than those of Rotorua yet known in any part of the • world. Taken in conjunction with New Zealand's wonderful scenery and climate they should, in days to come bring thousands of travellers an-. health seekers to the Dominion, every year, from other parts of the world. "We have enjoyed our sojourn amongst you greatly and we wish you, and your fellow twonspeople a very happy Christmas."
