WORK TO RESUME STATEMENT BY COMPANY

RUGBY, Tuesday. The Cunard Company has issued a statement to the effect that work will be resumed on the /giant Cunard steamer as soon as trade prospects warrant. A Trades Union deputation will today urge upon the president of the Board of Trade the desirability of special financial arrangements by the Government.
