Rec. Dec. 22, 11 p.m. SYDNEY, Tuesday. The Stock Exchange continued to display a strong tone to-day, though buyers were not so plentiful. Commonwealth 4 per cent, 1938, sold at £94 2s 6d, a rise of 7/6. Colonial Sugars, at £45 17/6, were up 17/6. Other Commonwealth bonds sold from 2/6 to 20/- higher and Bank of New South Wales were down by 5/-, to £31 10/-.
