. LONDON, Thursday. - ' Unknown to the pilot and mechanie an exciting seene was enacted when over the Eng-lish Channel in •the- cabin of an aeroplane flying from Ostend fo Croydon. . The passen'gers included a tiger and its trainer, who were to appear at a "p'erformanee in London. The tiger was making its first flight. It Was1 most unhappy and' growled ferociously. The trainer prepared to enter the eage to keep the animal company, but the tiger shot out as soon as the door was . opjened. It h'owever, /iid not attack. any oue, but just wrestled with the trainer- who, with. great piresenee oif mind, dashed hack into the cage with the tiger clinging to him' and managed to re-fasten the animal in its cage. • • t .
