WEDDING

SMITH— 1 TREADWELL The wedding took place at St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral, Wellington, on December 7, of Myrtle Evelyn, widow of the late R. B. Smith, to Charles Herbert Treadwell, the well-known barrister, of Wellington. Mr. F. E. Ward gave the bride away. She lookod charming in a white satin frock, ring velvet eoatee and cream picture hat trimmed with ostrich feathers. The bridegroom was supported hy Mr. Archie Treadwell. Canen James performed the ceremony, after which the wedding party, who were limited to a few intimate friends of the parties, were entertained at the Midland Hotel to dinner. Notwithstanding the fact that the service was to be private, the church was well filled with interested spectators.
