FLANNEL DANCE

OLD PUPILS' ASSQCIATION Instead of the annual plain and fancy dress ball usually held by the Rotorua High School at the close of the school year, the dance this year took the form of a flannel dance given by the Old Pupils' Association, and held last Thursday evening in the School Hall. ' The decorations, of laecapodium, foliage, Chinese lanterns, streamers and Iceland poppies were in the hands of the senior girls of the school and the result was certainly a credit to their efforts. Supper was served in the science laboratory. Mr. T. Carnachan acted as master of ceremonies, and a delightful dance programme was supplied by Messrs. , Epi Shalfoon and Eric Munson. The committee in charge of the dance is to be congratulated upon its evident success.
