When a man who had been serving a year's imprisonment in Parramatta Gaol for housebreaking was released he was met by a pretty young girl in an expensive car and two policemen. A moment after he had embraced the girl the police arrested him on another charge, and after a few minutes' conversation with the weeping girl he was taken to the Parramatta lock-up and charged with another offence.
