LOCKS UP THEATRE CASHIER AND DECAMPS WITH CASH ARMED HOLD-UP IN BRISBANE

BRISBANE, Tuesday. An armed robb,er held np the eashier at the Regent Theatre, Queen Street, last night, while the show was in progress and decamped with £200 in cash. The eashier (Mr. Harris) was forced at the revolver's point into the manager's (Mr. Betts) room adjoining where the robber locked them while he got away. An employee heard the alarm and gave chase, and the police joined in. They caught the man half a mile away. The money was recovered.
