PEER'S SON AND CLUB INSTRUCTOR DIVE TO DEATH ACCIDENTS IN ENGLAND

Rec. Dec. 14, 7.0 p.m. LONDON, Monday. The Hon. George Tomlin, eldest son of Lord Tomlin, was killed while flying at Broxbourne, Essex. It is said that he went into a spin at 6000 feet and failed to recover and nose dived to earth, when the machine burst into flames. Captain Barker, instructor at the Cardiff Flying Club, dived to death from a height of 5000 feet. One of the pupils, who was strapped behind Captain Butler, was desperately hurt, but is alive.
