LORRY OVER BANK

DRIVER AND PASSENGER - BOTH ESCAPE UNHURT Shortly after 6 p.m. on Saturday, a heavy lorry driven by Mr. James Stevens of Murupura went over a bank near the mil© peg on the Taupo road. Both Mr. Stevens and a passenger wlio was with htm escaped unhurt, although the lorry was considerably damaged. The vehicle was heavily laden with benzine but fortunately it did not catch fire.
