Rec. Dec. 10, 7.30 p.m. MELBOURNE Thurday. A trade loss of £10,408 is disclosed in the accounts of the. Kauri Timber Company Ltd. for the twelve months ended August 1931. The directors, in the circumstances, regretted their inability to pay a dividend. Less than £282, was brought forward from August 1930. The total debit now carried forward amounts to £10,126. Stocks are shown at a valuation of £192,735. The company's operations the prevvious year resulted in a profit of £18,043, in respeet of which a dividend of 2~h per cent was paid. Mr. John Bishop was re-elected to the directorate.
