CLASH BETWEEN CITIZENS AND POLICE IN PERU

LIMA, (Peru), Monday. A despatch from Trujillo states that ten persons were killed and 13 wounded in fighting between citizens and police at Taijan on the eve of the inauguration of the Presidentelect, General Luis Cerro. Most of the dead and wounded were members of a party that had supported Senor Victor de la Torre in the presidential campaign.
