A re- f . ward of £300 awaits the person who | find's it. | The necklace is the property of Mrs. | Harman. On August 24, when stay- 1 ing at ihe Ladies'. Army and Navy I Club, in St. James' Place, she sent | to her jewellers for a pair of eaiv | rings which were being remounted. | The jewellers had also in their pos- 1 session her pearl necklace, which they | returned with the ear-rings. | Mrs. Harman was not expecting the | necklace, took out -the ear-rings arid | threw the packet away. Several days I later she called at the jewellers for ; I the necklace, and the loss was dis- f covered. ... , . , = It is thought that. the box, along 1 witli the necklace, was coll'ectect with 1 the cluh's rubbish, and: taken to the 1 refuse dump.
