GRAND THEATRE
TO-NIGHT Thrilling adventure, chilling intrigue, colourful sea-going atmosphere and actfon, with Louis Wolheim and Mary Astor involved in a dramatic love entanglement ! That, in essence, describes Radio Pietures' "The Sin Ship," which opened at the Grand Theatre last night. Of particular interest is Louis Wolheim in a romantic part — entirely diff erent from anything he has done. To say he succeeds eminently, in establishing a new and greater Wolheim, is to put it mildly. Which is due, it seems, to three conditions — Wolheim's direction, the story, and the inspiration of a beautiful star like Mary Astor. ■ -J
