TEAM TO PLAY BAY OF PLENTY AT MATATA ON DEC. 13.
' DRAW FOR NEXT SATURDAY The fortnightly meeting of the Ro"torua Cricket Association was held last evening, a full attendance of delegates being present. Mr. H. L. Musgrave presided. In an effort to foster the game in ,„the primary schools, it was decided ; to donate a ball for their use, clubs having agreed to provide a supply of second-hand bats. The selectors announced that the .following players had been ehosen tc represent the Rotorua Association in a match against the Bay of Plenty : • "Sub-Association at Matata on Sunday.. December 13: — Lenihan (captain), Read, Craig , P. Hampson, Beale, Ryder, N. Hin- . ton, J. Hinton, McGill, Wallis, SutherTand. Twelfth man, Ellis. Reserves •Hewson and Mason. Mr. H. L. x.xusgrave will manage the team, and Mr. Clarke will travel as offieial umpire. The team will assemble outside the ■ Rotorua Furnishing Company's premises, Tutanekai Street, at 7 a.m • cars for the trip having been arranged. The draw, grounds and umpires for ■ the fifth series of matches, which will commence on Saturday next, is as follows: — Albion v. Old Boys, High School ' No. 2 ground. Messrs Brennan and Mulligan; Ngongotaha v. City, Government Grounds, Messrs. Robertson - and Marcroft; Mamaku v. High School High School No. 1 ground. Messrs Clarke and Fuller. Messrs Lack and Gorbett were granted registration as players for the City Club.
