YQUNG FRENCH AVIATOR'S PLAN TO TEST INVENTION WILL CRASH IN FLAMES

Rec. Dec. 7, 7.10 p.m. LONDON, Sunday. A young French Aviator named Souvant, of Nice, has invented a double cased aeroplane which he intends to ignite and then crash to earth in, accompanied by a mechanic, from a height of 3000. feet in the Alpes Maritimes. M. Souvant declares that the occupants can escape uninjured from the inner case when the fire is extinguished. He made satisfaetory experiments with a minature machine in which he placed a lamb. He also dropped an ostrich egg containing a hen's egg 375 feet. The latter was unbroken.
