MAJESTIC TO-NIGHT

John G. Blystone, who directed E1 Brendel and Fifi. Dorsey in their latest Fox comedy production, "Mr. Lemon of Orange," which opens its three days engagement to-night at the Majestic Theatre, is one of the most successful producers in Hollywood. ! His current picture is the fifty-first Blystone has made for Fox Films since signing his first contract several years ago. Since, according to the Hollywood dictum, a "director is no better than his last picture," Blystone's continuous reeord of aehievement is without parallel in the film colony. Every one of his pictures has been a box office suceess. Among his recent talkie production are "So This is London," which starred Will Rogers, and Edmund Lowe's late Fox picture, "Men on Call." Blystone is one of the most unsual directors in the business, in that he - never worries about a picture. He spends weeks of preparation on each production before ever filming a foot = of action, and once he starts, -things move along with remarkable smoothness. « Critics have unanimously agreed | | that "Mr. Lemon of Orange" is a I "veritable laugh riot." It gives both | Brendel and Miss Dorsay the best \ opportunities they ever have had to | display their talent for fun-making. ? Others in the east include William ; Collier, Sr., Ruth Warren, Donald \ Dillaway and Joan Castle. A good set of shorts will also be | sereened. f
