CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday. At a meeting of the committee of the New Zealand Cricket Council it was reported that the committee is keeping in close communication with the manager of the South African team touring Australia, as there is a prospect of a short tour of the Dominion being arranged if the fifth Test match in Melbourne is completed.
