POLICY SPEECH ISSUED BY MR BRUCE IN

LONDON SCULLIN PARTY CRITICISED

By Telegraph — Copyright.)

Rec. Dec. 6, 10 p.m. LONDON, Saturday. Mr. Stanley Bruce, in a policy speech issued after the speeches of Messrs Seullin and Lyons, declares that Mr. Seullin lost the greatest opportunity ever presented to any Australian statesman, when, after his ireturn from England, he put party before country. His vacillation, laclc of courage, and true leadership, have disgusted even his own followers, Mr Bruce states. "The re-election of the Scullip Party 'will' lead to the abandonment of rehabilitation and a disastrous world-wide reaction. Mr. Scullin's fanaticism on tbe question of tariffs is a real danger to Australia," said Mr Bruce. Dealing with the Government's arbitration policy, Mr. Bruce said: "A few extremeists will continue to determine the lives and happinesss of the whole' of th£ Australian workers. The menace of the Communism must be extirpated."
