BOWLING
SEMI-FINALS OF ROTORUA CLUB FOURS REACHED Saturday's bowling decided the second of the Saturday section winners which will contest the semifinals of the Rotorua Bowling Club's fours competition. The fours have been played in Saturday and Wednesday sections with two divisions for the Saturday players, and, one fOr the Wednesday. The "Wednesday divislon was won by W. L. Richards' rink and the" first of the Saturday divisions by Tapper's rink. On Saturday; Wash's rink, by defeating the four skipped by Fowkes, won the second Saturday division, and will now meet the winner of Richards and Tapper, in the final of the competition. Results of Saturday's bowling were: — Foggin, Jackson^ Tyson, Wash (skip), beat Browne, La Trobe Hill, Brackebush, Fowkes (skip), 12 — 5; Foggin, Jackson, Tyson, Wash (skip), beat Roberts, Brownie, McDowell, Budd (skip), 22 — 21.
