HIS LAST REQUEST.
He Was a golfer. One day he had ' an argument with another golfer. It was a red-hot argument. Words turned to blows. He killed his man. "A lif-e for a life," said the law. i He stood on the scaffold to be hanged. "You are allowed to make a last I request," they told him. "What would I you like ? " And the murderer-golfer answered :e "What about a trial swing?"'
