pondent says that the bullet-riddled bodies of three young men, sons of farmers in the village of Vall, were found in an open grave covered with branches in a forest near the Duteh frontier. One had died of suffocation, having evidently ' been buried alive. The others had been thrown on top of his body. A gamekeeper has been arrested. His allegation is that he shot the youths as poachers, but the villagers believe that smugglers, having been betrayed, shot , the yotiths out of revenge. The poliee are seeking a fourth missing youth. The frontiers abound with well armed smugglers.
