CALCUTTA, Wednes. The recent riots of Srinagar, and subsequent Moslem agitation against the Kashmir Hindu Government, is having a distressing eff-ect in the Punjah, where the fires of traditional Moslem and Hindu enmity are likely to break out momentarily. The situation is menacing at Lahore. There is increasing lawlessness in the Peshawnr district, and murders for robhery, women, or revenge have grown to one daily. The agitation among the peasants in the United Provinces, through Congress urging them not to pay taxes, is steadily growing.
