[ (From Our Own Correspondent) . REPOROA, Monday. A cricket team from Reporoa visited Mokai on Sunday and after an enjoyable and close game won by 14 runs, the scores being: — Mokai, first innings, 114; second innings, 60; total 174. Reporoa, first innings, 104; second innings, 84; total, 188. Of the batsmen for Reporoa, G. Broomfield was top scorer with 57 runs and 24 runs. The top score for Mokai, first innings, 114; second inn25 and 5. Bowling for Reporoa, Appleton took 5 wickets for 8 runs; Broomfield, 10 for 59; Lowry, junior, 4 for 28; Mokai, Burton, took 5 for 35; Gamble, 3 for 21; Guinaven, 1 for 4; Chaplin, 6 for 46; Hurrill, 4 for 33. A return match will probably be played at Reporoa next Sunday week.
