pondence seems to be, to try to discredit the present Government's land settlement works in the eyes of the elector. This may be excellent propaganda for one of the candidates interested, but will not cut much ice with the average elector. If "Settler" will come out in to the open and sign his name, instead of ! hiding behind a nom-de-plume, the i people can then judge the true value of his statements. — I am etc.
