I The party was entertained vfl in Rotorua hy the district man® of the Tourist Department, Mr. 1® Bayfeild, who also farewelled t® as they left by the train. Severa® the Maori guides were also pre® at the station to hid good-byeB those they had conducted roundB thermal sights and entertained m concert. ' 9 Practically all bf - the visito'rs'9 pressed _ appreciation of the wa® which tfiey had ben entertained I ; ing:' their short stay. * ' They* also'9 marked on the many thermal wonB they had seen, especially mentioB the hoiling nmd pools, which « quite new in their experience. B Conversation with a ; "Post" repB entative memhers of the party 9 that Rotorua had been the. most9 teresting .place visited during® cruise. 9 During the Afternoon "a smfl party bf 1 Americans, who had se® ated from the main body in orde9 visit Waitomo and the National ?9 arrived at Whakarewarewa.
